- MORE RUTHLESS THAN THE ENEMY: WILLIAM "CUBA" PAWLEY'S COVERT CIA ACTIVITIES & DISDAIN FOR JFK. David Price Cannon majored in American Civilization in the 1960s not far from the vast JMWAVE CIA Station in Miami. An advertising writer/creative director, Cannon also wrote a newspaper series on Marvin Airport, songs, and poems. His William Douglas Pawley research began with a footnote that led to a 1975 FOIA request for the Doolittle Report which emboldened the CIA to become more ruthless than the enemy. Between 1999 and 2023, thousands of previously classified CIA and FBI documents revealed more. His analysis of Zapruder Frame 413 is based upon obtaining a bootleg copy of the Zapruder film in 1975 and replicating what he saw at the Grassy Knoll. He recommends subscribing to maryferrell.org, Jefferson Morley's JFK Facts substack newsletter and podcasts as well as reading Carrozza's biography of William Pawley -- one of mid-century America's most interesting millionaires.
